Firstly I would like to say how much I have learned from this course. As a complete novice who just sat down and wrote for therapy, I have now seen a creation with possibilities grow from that initial writing. l sent it to Sarah my daughter who is also a writer and filmmaker/editor and she echoed everything you said in her critique.
I would never have a clue about writing without your course so if I ever have something published you are the reason.
One point that my daughter made that I also realised, although there is a lot of fiction in this putting it in the first person makes it like a rabbinical confession and I can possibly deflect my possible exile from family and society by twisting it setting it as an apology to my wife prior to suicide to be read with my will or as evidence at my trial for murdering one of my lovers who sent the letter to my wife telling all.
These are just ideas floating in my head to give the story a bit of bite
